For the Heros complex in Amsterdam's Nieuw-West Sloterplas district, the more than 100 luxurious flats were equipped with a special access system - a combination of automatic swing doors, access control and camera surveillance. In addition, the doors were to be operated contactlessly from both sides. For the project, 51 FD20 door drives mechanism were installed in collaboration with the highly specialised door automation company OTD toegang & comfort BV - a long-standing sales partner of Gilgen. Area scanners and an access control system were used as security elements. Contactless opening is made possible with special sensors.
