If so, we are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to support the effective and efficient East Sales Team across

The Position

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director you will be responsible for achieving new automatic pedestrian door product sales targets within your territory. Success will be derived from developing business with End Users, architects, main contractors and fabricators. You will be maximising all possible lead opportunities for new door sales as well as following up on enquiries and quotations. As Regional Sales Manager, you are required to work closely with various departments within Gilgen Door Systems including Estimating, After Sales and Operations.

As part of your responsibilities, you will be liaising with potential and existing customers, with a view to hunt new opportunities and develop relationships, you will be trained on the use of bespoke Gilgen quoting software to allow for quick quote & drawing generation from your site surveys. You will also be required to submit monthly reports on sales performance and orders forecasts.


Skills and Experience


  • Self-motivation and desire to succeed
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills
  • Flexible attitude to adapt swiftly to changing demands in the business
  • Proven history of generating new business with the construction industry
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Computer literate, especially with MS Office
  • Full driving licence


  • Previous experience using SAP
  • Hold a mechanical, technical or construction qualification
  • Experience within the door industry
