Tasting ice whiskey together
Just as many people from all over the world travelled to Munich for BAU, our partners from Asia and Australia also made the journey to Europe. After the trade fair, Gilgen Doors Systems invited visitors to the Asia Pacific Event in Switzerland. In addition to product training at our training centre in Utzenstorf and at our headquarters in Schwarzenburg, the partners from Asia and Australia were also able to exchange experiences.
In addition, our guests were to get a taste of Switzerland outside the Gilgen universe: They were particularly pleased about a dinner in a farmhouse with food and music from the traditional Swiss corner. Equally interesting was the insight into Swiss politics. The group made an excursion to the Bundeshaus, a building with various installations from Gilgen. Afterwards, the group exchanged views with National Councillor Christian Wasserfallen on Switzerland's relations with Asia and Australia.
The unbeaten highlight of the Asia Pacific Event, however, remains the excursion to the lofty heights of the Jungfraujoch. Sipping ice whiskey together at the glacier bar at an altitude of 3,454 metres is an experience that no one will forget in a hurry. We will definitely have fond memories of the days and we would like to thank our partners from Access Entry, An Dinh Technology and Fortex Technology for their visit!
