Gilgen has been supplying door and gate solutions for Bernmobil, the Bernese public transport company, for many years. Recently, a total of five different systems were designed and installed - during ongoing operations.

A large quantity of sliding doors

The steepest rack railway in the world leads up Lucerne's local mountain, Mount Pilatus. Eight new railcars are currently being produced and will be delivered by mid-2023 – with sliding doors and control systems from Gilgen.

Aloha!

Even though we are still in the depths of winter, we are already working on projects with a summer feel. The Alaïa Bay surf pool in Sion opens its Gilgen doors in April 2021 and offers a unique surfing experience in the middle of the Valais Alps. We are proud to be a partner in this unique project - the first of its kind in Europe.
