On June 26, Gilgen employees from all over Switzerland gathered at a farm in Mamishaus, not far from our headquarters in Schwarzenburg. Starting at 4:00 p.m., the event began with a relaxed aperitif in the farm’s rustic surroundings. The traditional farmhouse, wooden barns, views of the surrounding countryside with its rolling hills and mountains, the cows in the barn and the large marquee all contributed to a truly special atmosphere.
Guests from Across Switzerland
For employees from Western Switzerland and Winterthur, buses were arranged for both the outbound and return journeys. Colleagues from Winterthur, Gland, Vevey and even Ticino travelled to the event to celebrate together, raise a toast and enjoy personal interactions away from everyday work life.
Guests were treated to a generous barbecue buffet for dinner. The selected specialties could be prepared directly on-site on the grills provided. The highlight of an all-round successful summer evening was the breathtaking sunset over the hills of Mamishaus – a moment that many will remember for a long time to come.
Photo Booth and Games
The varied entertainment programme was also very well received. Whether playing darts, table football or taking part in the traditional nail-driving game, there was plenty of laughter, fun and friendly competition throughout the evening. A guessing game with attractive prizes added even more excitement. Naturally, a speech by our CEO, Peter Koller, was also part of the programme.
The photo booth proved especially popular and was in constant use throughout the evening, capturing countless memories. The event photographs once again highlight what defines Gilgen Door Systems: dedicated employees, strong teams and many smiling faces.
