Digital document management and filing system
Door system asset management includes overseeing, testing and optimising doors and associated components in buildings and systems. This discipline is particularly important in safety-critical environments such as office buildings, industrial plants and public facilities. Efficient asset management enables door systems to remain reliable, safe and functional while helping to extend their service life.
Documents and data
All documents are stored for each door and system. The standard documents include:
- Invoices
- Contracts
- Reports
They are available to download in PDF format at any time. Individual images or documents can be uploaded for each door asset or system. If a door asset is moved to another group, all data and related information are retained.
Backing up your personal door parameters is especially practical. You or your building technician can create the perfect setup for every system and save it for each door. If the settings are lost, they can be immediately downloaded again from the cloud and assigned to as many doors as you wish.
Backup and synchronisation
Backup and synchronisation
All documents and data are available redundantly. Your data is updated via our SAP systems each night.
This means you receive the latest reports, invoices and more every day, and they are correctly categorised and organised.
The most important benefit provided by the Gilgen Cloud Dashboard is remote access – giving you access anywhere, at any time, for any door system.
Organisation and user rights
Large companies with many branches can benefit in particular from grouping all door systems according to countries, regions, buildings and even floors.
Set an administrator for each location and assign your own rights using the standard groups ‘Technician’ and ‘Operator’. Decide who has access to which door. Users, groups and door assets can also be moved or merged into new primary groups and subgroups at any time.
Set the contact person for each door and store relevant contact details such as phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
