The globally active door specialist Butzbach will further intensify its existing cooperation with Gilgen Door Systems. Butzbach, a family-owned company based in southern Germany that manufactures high-quality gates, is known for its innovative and unique products in the door segment. While Butzbach impresses with its gate solutions, Gilgen Door Systems contributes its comprehensive service organisation in Switzerland. Customer service manager Christian Winkler is enthusiastic: ‘This addition makes our cooperation in the service business, but also in new installations and modernisations, very valuable – for both companies and, above all, for our customers.’
Gigantic gates
The newly signed service agreement stipulates that numerous Butzbach doors in Switzerland will be maintained by Gilgen Door Systems in future. According to Christian Winkler, Butzbach gates were already included in Gilgen's maintenance portfolio: ‘This means that our service technicians are familiar with the gates and we can obtain spare parts on favourable terms.’ Butzbach's managing director Sascha Neubauer is delighted with the existing expertise: ‘We often supply sophisticated gates in all sizes – such as hangar doors – so we are happy that Gilgen is already familiar with our products.’
Equally impressive
The parallels between the two companies are obvious: two family businesses, started with passionate inventiveness in the middle of the last millennium. Both stand out for their high quality and innovation, have grown strongly and are now successfully operating beyond their national borders.
