HHotel Leipzig

The H Hotel Leipzig impresses on Augustusplatz, one of the largest city squares in Germany with 40,000 square metres. Gilgen Door Systems has integrated a circular sliding door inside the building as the entrance to the hotel. The historical backdrop of the square includes the Mendebrunnen fountain from 1880 and the city's first two tower blocks from the 1920s. The opera house, opened in 1960, the City-Hochhaus from 1972 and the Gewandhaus from 1981, inaugurated under the direction of Kurt Masur, date from the GDR era.
