Nanjing Museum

The Nanjing Museum in Nanjing (the capital of the Chinese province of Jiangsu), which was founded in 1933, is one of the most important museums in the People’s Republic of China. In its role as a central, national museum, it exhibits antique bronzes items made of earthenware and jade, ink drawings, porcelain dating from the Ming and Qing dynasties and silk art, thereby presenting ancient Chinese history in a thoroughly modern setting.
