Schwetzingen Palace

Schwetzingen Palace

The modern doors fitted to the Schwetzingen Palace in southern Germany show how the latest technology can harmonise smoothly with the structure of a historic building. This impressive and famous castle functioned more than a century ago as a summer residence. Another part of its claim to fame lies in the magnificent castle gardens, which were laid out in the 18th century, and in the fact that Voltaire and Mozart spent many inspiring hours strolling around them.
