Taipei MRT Taiwan
The "Blue Line", which was opened in several stages between 1999 and 2015 and runs completely underground, is the most important east-west connection in the Taiwanese capital's metro network. It connects the Nangang district in the east of the metropolis with the south-western suburbs of Banqiao and Tucheng and brings thousands of commuters from east to west or vice versa every day.
Based on its successful experience in Hong Kong, Gilgen Door Systems supplied core components (OEM) for PSD's half-height doors for almost 150 door openings for this retrofit project.
