Toulouse TOA Line A
As the first metro line for this major French city, it has been a real life-changer for all inhabitants of Toulouse. Line A of Toulouse metro, initially 10km long and including 15 stations, started operation on 26th of June 1993.
Gilgen Door Systems delivered its first PSD system which consists of 180 automatic doorways and a total length across all stations of more than 1000m of Platform Screen Doors and contributed to the success of this new metro line.
Toulouse Line A has then been extended later with extra 3 stations in 2003 which Gilgen equipped with PSDs
