Public authorities are charged with safeguarding and, when necessary, restoring public order and safety. The technology installed here – e.g. door systems – must meet the highest safety standards. In the process of equipping a public authority building in the Bielefeld area with a pedestrian interlock, a certified combination of a Gilgen sliding door drive unit and a completely bullet-resistant door leaf construction including a burglar-resistant RC3 locking system was used.
